Abstract

This monograph does a boarding about the international traffic of women for sexual exploitation and legal guiding conferred to the victims. It boards about international traffic of human beings, in a generic way, delineating the victims (men, women and children) and the aliciadores profiles. It carries to discussion the globalization as one of the causes of the international human being mobility, in view of provided the frontier opening, resulting, consequently, the increase of traffic of human being, especially, the traffic of women, that look for better living conditions in other countries. The monograph discusses, in a more specific form, about international traffic of women for sexual exploitation, showing its dimensions and the main causes for its increase. Amongst others aspects boarded, the organized crime modus operandi, the courses established to send women to others countries and the high incidence of this crime in Brazil, especially, in four Brazilian states. This monograph refers about the lines of the direction of the international law – treaties and conventions – and national laws concerning the protection of the victims and combat of the traffic of women. Finally, it’ll be delineate preventive and repressive measures to face the international traffic of women for sexual exploitation.
