Abstract: The present study aims to examine how teachers perceive preschool interpersonal conflicts that arise daily between children and between children and teacher in the institutional context. The theoretical base of this work was carried out from the research of Brazilian authors who analyzed conflict environments in early childhood education, particularly the work of the researcher Isabel Galvão (1995, 2008), and Ph.D. Theses Sandra Schramm (2009) Sinara and Costa (2011). This study emphasizes the conflict as drivers of human development, focusing on the needs of not overestimate the intellectual plane, but perceive the individual in their entirety. Still, focusing on the stages of personality development and the role of interpersonal conflicts in the constitution of the self, Galvão (2008). The methodological approach of this research is outlined in a qualitative approach. Individual interviews were conducted with five teachers of pre-school institutions of municipal public Pacajus in the state of Ceará. In these interviews, in addition to seeking data on the professional and personal lives of teachers, they were asked to express their opinions about real scenes of conflict occurring in different contexts of early childhood education. The scenes shown were basically opposed to conflict between children and teachers and competition among children, drawn from the research already cited. Therefore, it can be seen that the interviewees repeatedly voiced children's right to be heard and understood during the occurrence of conflicts, but do not refer to something that is common to their stage of development.
