| Abstract in Brazilian Portuguese: | Algumas vezes a construção de discursos e representações reproduzidos com frequência a respeito de determinado assunto não condiz precisamente com a realidade. Partindo dessa premissa, o presente trabalho dedica-se a investigar a relação entre a região do Nordeste brasileiro e sua exibição pelos meios de comunicação de massa. A mídia de referência para o desenvolvimento do trabalho é a televisiva, através de uma emissora de televisão local fixada na cidade de Fortaleza, estado do Ceará, a TV Diário, pertencente ao Sistema Verdes Mares de Comunicação. Ao pesquisar este objeto de estudo, incidimos na análise investigativa e conceitual a respeito da televisão local e regional. Pretendemos, assim, responder a seguinte pergunta: Como a TV Diário representa as manifestações populares nordestinas em sua grade de programação? A procura pela representação do regionalismo nordestino feita pela emissora buscará respostas amparadas no discurso teórico e conceitual da folkcomunicação, em elementos da cultura popular nordestina, através de um estudo aprofundado sobre a região Nordeste e das pesquisas feitas sobre a televisão local e regional enquanto mídia singular em seu perfil. Entrevistas com produtores de um programa da emissora, denominado Diário Regional, com colaboradores ligados a este canal de televisão e com estudiosos sobre o folclore e o regionalismo são realizadas para verificar a relação da emissora com a exibição da cultura popular do Nordeste. O entendimento da construção do Diário Regional, a análise descritiva detalhada de uma das suas edições e a análise de conteúdo são utilizadas para compreender o programa em questão e para a construção de um levantamento de programas catalogados no formato de tabela, fazem parte dos aspectos metodológicos para um entendimento mais claro a respeito da atual grade de programação regional da emissora estudada. Como uma das conclusões, temos que tal estação consiste de fato em um canal de TV de cunho regional, mas limitado ao Estado do Ceará, pois reflete profunda identificação com o público que o acompanha pelo sinal aberto em todas as regiões e municípios deste Estado. |
| Abstract: | The construction of discourses and representations frequently reproduced on a given subject does not exactly match reality sometimes. Starting from this premise, the present work is dedicated to investigate the relationship between the region of the Brazilian Northeast and its exhibition by the mass media. The reference media for the development of the work is the television, through a local television station set in the city of Fortaleza, state of Ceará, TV Diário, belonging to the Verdes Mares System of Communication. In researching this object of study, we focus on the investigative and conceptual analysis regarding local and regional television. We intend, therefore, to answer the following question: How does TV Diário represent the popular Northeastern manifestations in its programming grid? The search for the representation of Northeastern regionalism by the station will seek answers based on the theoretical and conceptual discourse of folkcommunication, in elements of the popular culture of the Northeast, through an in-depth study of the Northeast region and the research done on local and regional television as a singular medium in your profile. Interviews with producers of a program of the station, called Regional Diary, with collaborators connected to this television channel and with scholars about folklore and regionalism are carried out to check the relationship of the broadcaster with the display of the popular culture of the Northeast. The understanding of the construction of the Regional Diary, the detailed descriptive analysis of one of its editions and the content analysis are used to understand the program in question and to construct a survey of programs cataloged in the table format, and it is part of the methodological aspects for a clearer understanding of the current regional programming grid of the station studied. As one of the conclusions, we have that this station consists in fact in a regional TV channel, but limited to the State of Ceará, because it reflects deep identification with the public that accompanies it by the signal opened in all the regions and municipalities of this State. |
