Os efeitos da pandemia de Covid-19 na formação acadêmica de estudantes do curso de Música - Licenciatura na UFC, Campus Sobral

Abstract

With the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and its consequences in subsequent years, different perspectives emerged regarding the complexity of learning music among students at the Federal University of Ceará, Campus Sobral. Narratives and testimonies pointed to the problems of difficulties and dissatisfaction in learning music. The discussion point that inductively emerged from the statements considered a reflection of the relevance of remote and hybrid teaching when compared by previous experiences with the in-person teaching model. This study started with a qualitative approach to the voices of four students interviewed out of an initial total of ten students entering in 2019 and 2021. The strategy for choosing the interviewed subjects considered the availability and collaboration of their voices. Based on semi-structured interviews, this study was developed using ethnographic guidelines. Data collected on the ground showed that remote teaching was one of the agents that caused student delay and dropout.
