Políticas públicas de inclusão da pessoa com deficiência: avaliação do acesso e permanência no ambiente profissional do judiciário paraibano - um estudo autoetnográfico

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate, in depth, public policies of inclusion, aimed at the social insertion of people with disabilities in the professional scenario, having as a backdrop the personal experiences (situated) of the researcher as a social subject inserted in the context that underpins the research theme. This research aims to discuss ableist issues and discourses, leading to a reflection on the essential search for understanding the plurality and diversity of bodies, without establishing hierarchies between them. Based on the premise that the relationship between society and people with disabilities was built amid historical social contexts marked by segregation, which causes the fullness of human diversity/social dignity to succumb, this study also aims to evaluate in depth the signifiers and meanings attributed in the arduous path to overcoming historical segregation and social inequalities experienced by people with disabilities in the professional scenario, through the fight for effective public policies amid antagonistic and neoliberal social scenarios. The chosen evaluative perspective was the In Depth Evalutation (Rodrigues, 2008, 2011). Therefore, this is a research with a qualitative approach in which bibliographic, documentary and field research techniques will be used, through the autoethnographic immersion of this author as the subject of the research itself. According to Maia and Batista (2020, p. 240), in studies of this nature “the researcher is part of his/her own object and universe of research”. As for the objectives, according to Gil (2008), these should start from the characteristics of certain populations or phenomena, an idea that begins the present investigation. Thus, we envision the development of a social research engaged in the evaluative perspective based on the threshold of the ethnographic method, providing an opportunity to start from the social singularities of the researcher him/herself to move on to analyses of analogous social situations and, in this way, construct the various mediations in contradictory and plural situations.
