A satisfação dos usuários como uma variável interveniente no processo de mobilidade residencial

Abstract

Residential mobility is addressed in this paper as a consequence of satisfaction/dissatisfaction with housing attributes. Field work was undertaken during a salesfair held in Florianópolis in July 1997, taking the views of 340 potencial movers. A classification is made in terms of reasons that were pressing households to move to new dwellings. Statistics are provided for each voluntary reason behind the desire to go to a new house. Explanations were sought mainly in terms of family life cycle stage.
