Metodologias de gerenciamento de projetos: um estudo de caso em startups

Abstract

With the rapid technological advancement and the emergence of startups as transformative agents in the business landscape, this work investigates the specific challenges and management strategies adopted by these companies in an environment characterized by high uncertainty and limited resources. The central issue lies in the difficulties startups face in project management, such as ineffective communication, lack of clarity in tasks, and low adherence to agile methodologies. The objective is to analyze how the application of the Scrum framework and agile methodologies can address these issues by improving communication, task definition, and delivery efficiency. The applied methodology includes the practical implementation of Scrum, with a focus on enhancing backlog descriptions, conducting daily meetings, and utilizing direct communication tools. The results show a greater than 200 percent increase in deliveries and a significant improvement in internal communication, highlighting the effectiveness of agile practices in transforming the operational dynamics of startups and fostering a more collaborative and productive work environment.
