| Abstract in Brazilian Portuguese: | O presente estudo buscou analisar a representatividade de corpos gordos e não-brancos no desfile Savage X Fenty vol.2, através da análise de imagens do desfile. Entendendo a passarela como um pedestal onde são elevados corpos condizentes com os padrões de beleza buscados pela sociedade, é traçada, a partir dessas novas construções imagéticas propostas em Savage X Fenty vol.2, a construção de uma nova representação de corpos de passarela, analisadas a partir de uma perspectiva decolonial da moda. Primeiro estabelece-se os conceitos teóricos que serão a base do estudo como padrão de beleza e corpo e decolonialidade da moda. Em seguida aponta-se o processo de desumanização do corpo gordo e do corpo não-branco que resulta em um corpo indesejável e ilustra-se o ideal de beleza que é materializado na passarela. É realizada então a análise de cinco fotografias do desfile através de um método de análise de imagens, traçando-se paralelos com os conceitos estudados na bibliografia |
| Abstract: | The present study sought to analyze the representation of fat and non-white bodies in the Savage X Fenty vol.2 fashion show, through the analysis of pictures from the fashion show. Taking the catwalk as a pedestal where bodies aligned with the society beauty standards are exalted, is identified, based on a decolonial analysis of these new imagery constructions shown in Savage X Fenty vol.2, the construction of a new representation of catwalk bodies. First, the theoretical concepts that will be the basis of the study are established, such as beauty standard, body and the decoloniality of fashion. Then, the process of dehumanization of the fat body and the non-white body that results in an undesirable body is pointed out and the beauty ideal that is materialized on the catwalk is illustrated. Five photographs of the fashion show are then analyzed using an image analysis method, drawing parallels with the concepts studied in the bibliography. |
