A perspectiva de crianças sobre a creche

Abstract

This paper explores data gathered in a research that sought to seize the perspective of children who attended to municipal nursery school. Observations were made for three months and semistructured interviews were held with the preschool coordinator, teachers and the children‟s families. The children were asked to finish beginnings of stories that sought to seize how they saw their experience in nursery school and also take pictures of the environment. The children express, mainly, appreciation for the possibility of playing and the food provided; the almost full denial of these two topics reveals much about the quality of the children‟s experiences.
