Abstract

In general, sexualeducation in Brazil'sschools is very poor, being restricted, many times in the basic anatomy and physiology classes in the subject of Science / Biology, generally, teachers, prefer not to go into controversial discussions that may cause embarrassment , problems with school and family of the students.Thinking about the conflict surrounding this issue, a diagnostic survey was conducted with the students of the school EEFM Dona Maria Menezes de Serpa, located in the city of Fortaleza Ceará, where,the analysis of this research, we conducted a sexual-education project entitled: Dairy of sexuality. Then, this project involved the participation of students of the 8th grade of elementary school to the 1st year of high school, where meetings were held with several themes about sex, sexuality and sexualism.This paperaimed to describe and analyze the activities of the project, make them aware about social prejudices, prevention of undesirable pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases, and especially enable them with informative dialogues that most often young people do not have them inside home, even with their own family. Thus, they arebeing influenced by the media.Finally, the meetings were very satisfactory, due tothey always gave the opportunity for dialogues,ask questions about sex and break down prejudices. Once the project was specifically for girls, there was a certainfreedom for discussions in groupwhichwasofgreatimportance for its success.
