As metodologias ativas: avaliação acerca da sua adoção no ensino superior

Abstract

This study approaches the active methodology in superior education, seeking the understanding of the teaching and learning process of both the student and the teacher. In this sense, it starts from the premise: what is the knowledge about the active teaching methodology used by higher education institutions? This research goal is to think this methodology in superior education, analyzing itsconcepts and verifying its scope at this school level. The research is of bibliographical character, with descriptive and qualitative natures. In the theoretical framework, there are considerations about the teaching and learning process, student knowledge, active methodology and superior education, necessary points for the topic addressed. The respective study has the purpose of showing a new form of teaching and learning, corroborating for the expansion of the concepts of active methodologies and their adoption in superior courses.
