| Abstract in Brazilian Portuguese: | Esta dissertação é baseada no artigo Revisiting the Connection between Minimal Surface and Solutions of the Liouville Equation , onde uma abordagem moderna destas questões clássicas é apresentada. O capítulo 1 trata de algumas propriedades básicas de superfícies mínimas e aí é introduzida a noção de parâmetro de Liouville. No capítulo 2 faremos um breve estudo da representação de Enneper-Weierstrass satisfazendo determinadas condições produz uma solução da equação de Liouville. O capítulo 3 é voltado para alguns exemplos clássicos de superfícies mínimas e suas parametrizações via representação de Weierstrass e ainda para uma análise das soluções simétricas da equação de Liouville. |
| Abstract: | This dissertation is based on the article Revisiting the Connection between Minimal Surface and Solutions of the Liouville Equation, where a modern approach of these classic questions is presented. Chapter 1 deals with some basic properties of minimum surfaces and introduces the notion of Liouville's parameter. In chapter 2 we will make a brief study of the representation of Enneper-Weierstrass satisfying certain conditions produces a solution of the Liouville equation. Chapter 3 is focused on some classic examples of minimum surfaces and their parameterizations through Weierstrass representation and also for an analysis of the symmetric solutions of the Liouville equation. |
