| Abstract in Brazilian Portuguese: | Neste trabalho buscamos enfocar a relação entre consciência universitária e comunidade desde a Teoria Histórico-Cultural da Mente (Vygotski) e a Teoria da Educação Libertadora (Freire), porém integrando a essa base algumas contribuições do Desenvolvimento Comunitário e o debate atual sobre a universidade brasileira com relação a seu compromisso científico-ético-social com nossa população. Partimos da consciência como uma categoria básica da Psicologia, tanto no processo de humanização do individuo, como no processo de desenvolvimento cultural de uma sociedade, para chegarmos à problematização do saber universitário e suas implicações na população brasileira. |
| Abstract: | In this paper we try to focus the relation between university conscience and community since the Historical Cultural Theory of the Mind (Vygotski) and the Liberator Education Theory (Freire), but also adding to this basis some contributions of the community development and the actual debate about the brazilian university related to its ethical, social and scientific commitment with our population. We start from conscience as a basic category of psychology in the humanizing process of the individual as well as in the cultural process of development of a society, to get to the problem matter of the university knowledge and its consequences to tha brazilian people. |
