O Primeiro Sonho de Talita: a trajetória de uma aluna do ensino médio à formação docente

Abstract

In the present Course Completion Work, which uses the autobiographical narrative method, the intention is to resume the author's experiences and the importance of these for her teaching education. In this way, the object of study is the changes in perceptions that occurred from basic education until the creation of this work, at the end of the undergraduate course. Among the objectives are: to describe the remarkable experiences that promoted important reflections for the future teacher, in addition to dialoguing with the authors proposed as theoretical reference, with a focus on Freirian pedagogy. Furthermore, to expand the perspectives of teacher education from an autobiographical perspective. The methodological path was based on the search and the report of lived experiences in order to interpret their meaning and analyze what changes could be observed. Therefore, the theoretical foundation is based on Lima, Geraldi, and Geraldi (2015) through the justification of the use of this narrative method, in order to value research involving the subjects of the research itself, a resource widely used in qualitative research, emphasizing its importance for the field of education. From the dialogue of the various experiences reported with the selected authors, it is possible to perceive the value of the experiences lived in all areas of higher education, in addition to highlighting the significance of the choice of the teaching profession in the current scenario of Brazilian education.
