@CIBERGRIM0RIO: estratégias artísticas para bruxarias virtuais

Abstract

This report develops around the process of making a digital Fanzine on the Instagram platform: the @cybergrim0rio. The project is the result of group readings, by the collective @l0b1tchuk4s, of the books: “Mulheres que Correm com Lobos” by the Jungian psychologist Clarissa Pinkola Estés and the “O Calibã e a Bruxa” by the Marxist philosopher Silvia Federici. The reading of the latter had been done with the purpose of understanding socio-historical processes that led to the domestication of the female psyche reported in the first book, noting that this domestication serves to modulate bodies and psyches and has, in the Witch Hunt studied by Federici, the strengthening of a policy of colonization and primitive capital accumulation that aimed at modulating and controlling the ways of seeing and living the world of pre-modern societies in Europe. The previously mentioned process was necessary to make possible the external colonizations that structured the establishment of the capitalist system in the modern era and are still reflected today. From these readings, audios, illustrations and annotations were produced, which are organized and made available on the digital fanzine with the main purpose of sharing the content of our discussions on the fifth most accessed social network in 2020. After discussing the relevance of sharing the records of the meetings, relating the subject of the books read by the collective, the report moves on to the methodology of making the digital fanzine, seeking to understand the technical aspects that involve the assembly and transmutation of the records on a fanzine on the Instagram. At the end, the report proceeds to a discussion that seeks to better understand the platform that was used, it's aspects regarding the concept of sharing that is proposed by it and how it relates and affects the artistic production of the artists/researchers involved and, consequently, the objectives of @cybergrim0rio regarding the possibilities of using Instagram in an inventive way to share art and knowledge, a question developed in the conclusion. Kastrup's cartographic method and the review of the Salles' process abets the research and assists the cartographer in the making of the work and in writing the report. The research had been carried out at the Laboratório de Investigação em Corpo, Comunicação e Arte-LICCA.
