| Abstract: | The session pretend to show some strategys of the discursive construction, in the mass media, of the personageFernando Henrique Cardoso during the month of May, 1993, having as analysis corpus the principal newspapers from São Pauloand Rio de Janeiro (Folha de São Paulo, O Estado de São Paulo, O Globo and Jornal do Brasil). The central supposition is the ideaof this newspapers, by some intent, “constructed” the future Republic President when he still was assuming the Finance ministry.Thus, we pretend to analyse the discursive role of the mass media in the political field |
