Júri simulado literário: onde direito e literatura se encontram

Abstract

According to Freitas (2012), the use of Portuguese by the students of the Law Course has been increasingly deficient. Even in the face of such a complex reality, legal education is still primarily guided by lectures. From the earliest times, literature plays an important role in society, since it awakens the reader's sensitivity by putting it in situations never before experienced. Thus, the objective is to report the experience in the employment of a simulated literary jury in the discipline of Portuguese and instrumental writing in the law course of a private HEI in Fortaleza. It is believed that the way in which theoretical activities are proposed enables a critical reflection to be developed, enabling future professionals to become increasingly qualified with ethical, political and technical skills, endowed with knowledge, reasoning, responsibility and sensitivity for the issues of life and society, capable of intervening in contexts of uncertainty and complexity (MITER et al., 2008).
