| Abstract in Brazilian Portuguese: | O artigo aborda o problema neológico da e na língua portuguesa. Para tanto, vista a questão no seu estado atual, parte para uma sistematização em cinco pontos. No primeiro, se ocupa com as divisões vertical e horizontal da língua (léxico e gramática). No segundo, com a evolução do idioma, devido a fatores endógenos e exógenos. No terceiro, com a craveira pré-lingüística do fenômeno (prescritiva, censória e condenatória). No quarto, com a visão lingüística (descritiva, analítica e receptiva). No quinto, com o processo de aportuguesamento das palavras e expressões. No sexto, com a prática adotada pelos manuais de redação e estilo das grandes empresas jornalísticas nacionais |
| Abstract: | The article describes the neological problem of and in the Portuguese language, systematizing it in five aspects. In the first one, the vertical and horizontal divisions of the language (lexicon and grammar) are studied. The second one studies the evolution of the language due to endogenous and exogenous factors. The third one treats the point of view of the prelinguistic phenomenon (prescriptive, critical and condemnatory). The fourth one deals with the process of giving Portuguese form to words and expressions. The sixth one deals with the practice adopted by writing and style manuals of the great national newspapers. |
