Abstract in Brazilian Portuguese: | Revisão sistemática que objetivou identificar determinantes, consequências e diagnósticos de enfermagem em mulheres idosas com incontinência urinária. Considerando os determinantes, verificou-se: restrição de mobilidade, multiparidade vaginal, deficiência de estrógeno, alterações neurológicas, comorbidades, infecção urinária, obesidade, constipação intestinal, uso excessivo de cafeína, uso de múltiplos medicamentos, tabagismo, antecedentes de cirurgia ginecológica e alterações da senescência. Quanto às consequências, observou-se: isolamento social, diminuição da autoestima, depressão, interferência na vida sexual, percepção negativa do estado de saúde, vergonha, problemas psicoemocionais, alterações do sono, institucionalização e prejuízo na qualidade de vida. Os diagnósticos de enfermagem identificados foram: Sono prejudicado, Ansiedade, Manutenção da saúde prejudicada, Cognição prejudicada, Constipação, Depressão, Infecção urinária, Isolamento social, Medo, Mobilidade restrita, Socialização prejudicada, Regime medicamentoso complexo. Conclui-se que a incontinência urinária em mulheres idosas implica prejuízos na qualidade de vida. |
Abstract: | This systematic review study had as objective to identify determinants, consequences and nursing diagnosis in elderly women with urinary incontinence. Considering the determinants, it was identified: mobility restriction, multiple childbirths, estrogen deficiency, neurological alterations, coexistence sickness, urinary infection, obesity, intestinal constipation, the excessive use of caffeine, use of multiple medicines, tabagism, and antecedents of gynecological surgery and anatomical and functional alterations of growing old. As for the consequences, were verified: social isolation, decrease of the self esteem, depression, interference in the sexual life, negative perception of the health condition, shame, psychological and emotional problems, sleeping alterations, institutionalization and damage in life quality. The identified Nursing Diagnosis were: sleeping problems, Anxiety, Health Maintenance problems, Cognition problems, Constipation, Depression, Urinary infection, Social isolation, Fear, Restricted mobility, socialization problems, Complex use of medication. We so conclude that urinary incontinence in older women involves loss in quality of life. Descriptors: Urinary Incontinence; Women’s Health; Aged; Nursing Diagnosis. |
