| Abstract in Brazilian Portuguese: | O Saúde e Rimas é um projeto do Programa de Promoção da Cultura Artística (PPCA) da Pró-Reitoria de Cultura da UFC (PROCULT) que busca aliar educação, arte e ciência, com o objetivo de traduzir e disseminar informações sobre doenças reumatológicas, como a osteoporose e a esclerodermia, por meio da literatura de cordel. A esclerodermia é uma peleja que acomete a vida de algumas pessoas e não é muito conhecida pela população. Assim, esse cordel em quadrinhos surge de um desejo de fazer chegar a mais parcelas da sociedade informações acerca de como a esclerodermia pode se manifestar e dos cuidados realizados para o seu tratamento. |
| Abstract: | Saúde e Rimas is a project of the Artistic Culture Promotion Program (PPCA) of the Office of the Vice-Rectory for Culture at UFC (PROCULT), which seeks to combine education, art, and science with the aim of translating and disseminating information about rheumatologic diseases, such as osteoporosis and scleroderma, through cordel literature. Scleroderma is a struggle that affects the lives of some people and is not widely known by the general population. Thus, this cordel in comic-strip format arises from a desire to bring information to broader segments of society about how scleroderma can manifest itself and about the care involved in its treatment. |
