| Abstract in Brazilian Portuguese: | Este estudo compara o cinema de Kiarostami e o mangá de Taniguchi, analisando como ambos exploram o cotidiano e a linguagem a partir da perspectiva da Semiótica da Cul- tura, com base no conceito de semiosfera (Lotman, 1999). A pesquisa foca em trechos do filme “Onde fica a casa do meu amigo?” (1987) e do mangá “O homem que passeia” (2017). Utilizando os conceitos de semiosfera e fronteira (Lotman, 1999; Trías apud Pe- rez, 2008/2009) e as teorias de Eisenstein (2002) e Cirne (1975) sobre a linguagem do cinema e dos quadrinhos, a análise aplica a ideia de fronteira entre as duas formas de arte, a partir de um recorte de fotogramas do filme selecionado e de página do mangá apontado, estabelecemos essa análise. O estudo conclui que essas linguagens dialogam de maneira significativa, especialmente nesse espaço limiar e por meio do cotidiano, conceito adotado por Certeau (2021) e Schneider (2019). |
| Abstract: | This study compares Kiarostami’s cinema and Taniguchi’s manga, analyzing how both explore everyday life and language from the perspective of Cultural Semiotics, based on the concept of the semiosphere (Lotman, 1999). The research focuses on selected the film Where’s My Friend’s House? (1987) and the manga The Walking Man (2017). Using the concepts of semiosphere and border (Lotman, 1999; Trías, cited by Perez, 2008/2009) and the theories of Eisenstein (2002) and Cirne (1975) on the language of cinema and comics, the analysis applies the idea of a border between the two art forms, illustrated by photograms and a page from the manga. The study concludes that these languages dialog in a significant way, especially in this liminal space and through the lens of everyday life, a concept adopted by Certeau (2021) and Schneider (2019). |
