Recuperáveis - histórias de superação de estigmas por meio da fé

Abstract

The book-report profile analyzed here addresses stories of people who were marginalized by society due to drug use and/or trafficking and who changed their life conditions by overcoming stigmas through faith, finding in the evangelical church a point of support for building a new social identity in Fortaleza. For the production of this project, an in-depth interview was used in order to extract from the four profiled legitimate reports of their experience. Official data on the subject were consulted, as well as materials by Edvaldo Lima, on book-report, and by Juliano Spyer, on evangelicals. With the production of the book, it is expected to promote a meeting space in the media regarding the existence of trajectories such as the illustrious characters and offer visibility to the investigated phenomenon.
