| Abstract in Brazilian Portuguese: | O presente memorial descritivo apresenta o processo de criação do curta-metragem “Uqbar”, desde sua ideia inicial até sua realização. Reflete-se sobre a construção conceitual do filme, que aborda questões afetivas e literárias sobre espaço e tempo para retratar o reencontro de um casal, tomando emprestado muito do livro “Sonhos de Einstein”, de Alan Lightman, e do conto “Tlön, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius”, de Jorge Luis Borges. Faz-se também uma descrição do processo de realização do filme, relacionando as referencias fílmicas e bibliográficas às escolhas no percurso tomado para fazer o filme. |
| Abstract: | This descriptive memorial showcases the creation process of the short film “Uqbar”, up from its initial idea to its making. It thinks over the conceptual construction of the film, which addresses affective and literary issues about space and time to depict the reunion of a couple, borrowing much from the book “Einstein’s Dreams” by Alan Lightman and from the short story “Tlön, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius” by Jorge Luis Borges. It also contains a description of the making of the movie, connecting the cinematographic and bibliographic references to the choices that were made during the course to make the film. |
