| Abstract in Brazilian Portuguese: | A amostra de processo de criação em dança PU(R)A problematiza a história da dança do ventre, questionando a erotização associada à técnica por meio de uma investigação corporal e da composição de uma obra artística. A partir de estudos históricos sobre a origem e evolução da dança do ventre, além de investigações corporais e da elaboração de diários de processo, foi possível entrelaçar minhas vivências pessoais como mulher praticante dessa técnica ao questionamento da erotização. O resultado dessa pesquisa culmina na criação de uma composição artística em dança que evoca imagens relacionadas à sensualidade, maternidade, sacralidade e animalidade. PU(R)A, assim, se apresenta como um trabalho em constante desenvolvimento, que explora as múltiplas representações do feminino que emergem ao longo da pesquisa. |
| Abstract: | The creative process sample in dance PU(R)A problematizes the history of belly dance, questioning the eroticization associated with the technique through bodily investigation and the composition of an artistic work. Based on historical studies of the origins and evolution of belly dance, along with bodily investigations and the development of process journals, it was possible to intertwine my personal experiences as a woman practicing this technique with the questioning of eroticization. The result of this research culminates in the creation of a dance composition that evokes images related to sensuality, motherhood, sacredness, and animality. PU(R)A thus presents itself as a work in constant development, exploring the multiple representations of femininity that emerge throughou the research. |
