Proteção infantil na era digital: o impacto do comportamento parental e a urgência de políticas públicas protetivas

Abstract

The increasing digitalization of society has brought both benefits and challenges to childhood, making child protection in the digital environment an urgent issue. Children and adolescents are increasingly exposed to risks such as grooming, cyberbullying, and privacy violations, requiring joint action from both families and the State. Parental behavior plays a crucial role in mediating the use of technology, and its effectiveness is directly related to access to information and public policies. Brazil has regulations such as the Child and Adolescent Statute (ECA), the Civil Rights Framework for the Internet, and the General Data Protection Law (LGPD), but still faces challenges in implementing these measures. This study analyzes the intersection between parental behavior and public policies in child protection in the digital environment, using a qualitative and bibliographic approach. The research aims to understand how the interaction between family and State can contribute to a safer and healthier digital environment for children and adolescents.
