| Abstract in Brazilian Portuguese: | O projeto Fotoqueer surge como um meio de homenagear revistas homoeróticas dos anos 80 e 90, como a G Magazine, XY Magazine e a MAN. Esse memorial reflete as referências teóricas, imagéticas e também sentimentais cujos os quais o meu trabalho se inspirou e trouxe à tona os desejos íntimos. Fotoqueer é um fotolivro que resgata a estética das revistas de nudez masculina dos anos 80 mas busca ressignificar essa nudes a partir da apropriação dessas imagens a partir de um viés da estética e princípios da pós-pornografia, criando uma arte com a estética pornográfica mas as bases teóricas mais desconstruídas e empoderas |
| Abstract: | The Fotoqueer project emerges as a way to pay tribute to homoerotic magazines from the 1980s and 1990s, such as G Magazine, XY Magazine, and MAN. This memorial reflects the theoretical, visual, and also emotional references that inspired my work and brought intimate desires to the surface. Fotoqueer is a photobook that revives the aesthetic of male nude magazines from the 1980s, but seeks to reinterpret this nudity through the appropriation of these images from the perspective of post-pornographic aesthetics and principles—creating art with a pornographic aesthetic, but rooted in more deconstructed and empowering theoretical foundations |
