| Abstract in Brazilian Portuguese: | Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar o mercado de trabalho formal de jovens (em idades entre 15 e 29 anos) alocados no setor agropecuário brasileiro, nos anos de 2010, 2019 e 2021. Metodologicamente, recorresse à análise tabular e descritiva dos dados da Relação Anual de Informações Sociais do Ministério do Trabalho e do Emprego. Os resultados mostram o crescimento do emprego formal juvenil agropecuário, liderado pelas mulheres, no biênio 2019/2021. Elas estão alocadas, expressivamente, na região Sudeste, com ensino médio completo e recebendo até dois salários mínimos. Embora as mulheres tenham aumentado seu grau de qualificação, superior ao dos homens, elas continuam recebendo os menores salários e são marcadas pela elevada rotatividade no setor agropecuário. |
| Abstract: | This article aims to analyze the formal labor market of young people (aged between 15 and 29 years old) allocated to the Brazilian agricultural sector, in the years 2010, 2019 and 2021. The methodology includes tabular and descriptive analysis of data from the Annual List of Social Information from the Ministry of Labor and Employment. The results show some growth in formal youth agricultural employment, led by women, in the 2019/2021 biennium. They are allocated, significantly, in the Southeast region, with complete secondary education and receive up to two minimum wages. Although women have advanced to a higher level of qualification than men, they continue to receive lower salaries and are marked by high turnover in the agricultural sector. |
| Abstract in Spanish: | Este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar el mercado de trabajo formal de los jóvenes (entre 15 y 29 años) ubicados en el sector agrícola brasileño, en los años 2010, 2019 y 2021. Metodológicamente, utilizamos el análisis tabular y descriptivo de los datos del Informe Anual de Seguridad Social del Ministerio de Trabajo y Empleo. Los resultados muestran el crecimiento del empleo formal juvenil en la agricultura, liderado por las mujeres, en el bienio 2019/2021. Ellas se ubican significativamente en la región Sureste, con educación secundaria completa y recibiendo hasta dos salarios mínimos. Aunque las mujeres han aumentado su nivel de cualificación, superiores al de los hombres, siguen recibiendo salarios más bajos y sufren con la alta rotación del personal en el sector agrícola. |
