| Abstract in Brazilian Portuguese: | The activity of the culture of marine shrimp showed a growth in its production at the beginning of the 90s, mainly due to natural conditions that favor a high rate of productivity, acceptance in the international market showing positive impacts on the generation of employment, income, currency and tax collection of taxes in the regions where they installed. The activity currently finds itself at a time of transition and stagnation of production. The importance of the work lies on the clarification of these changes for the sector. The objective is to show the current scenario in carcinicultura and the impact on producers of shrimp. The study was conducted by consulting literature and use of interviews applied to people who work with the activity of shrimp. Research results show that small producers are harmed by the scenario presented by carcinicultura currently uncertain and present difficulties. |
