Análises da didática utilizada no ensino da matemática para alunos com deficiência auditiva no ensino fundamental II

Abstract

The aim of the present work is to approach the teaching of mathematics for deaf students in elementary school II. Through interviews with teaching professionals, the intention is to analyze and discuss the role of the teacher in the face of this challenge, as well as the support offered by them during the teaching process, aiming at learning success. The work also highlights the importance of the Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS) for the education of the deaf, seeking to understand the universe of people with hearing loss and the importance of education for the inclusion of these individuals in society. We will show their perception, identity and culture, and in this way we were able to point out the main difficulties of teaching mathematics to these students. We will also analyze whether schools are able to develop a pedagogical plan that will fully assist deaf students who are part of regular education.
