| Abstract in Brazilian Portuguese: | Este estudo foi realizado na Serra Azul, localizada no município de Ibaretama, no Estado do Ceará, Nordeste do Brasil. As principais reflexões estão voltadas para a tecnologia do polimento que perpassa um sítio de gravura rupestre, a cultura material de artefatos polidos de um museu localizado nesta região e ainda, pilões fixos e polidores elaborados em afloramentos rochosos da serra supramencionada. A paisagem deste modo, tem sua memória na cultura material proveniente dessa zona da serra, a qual sempre é remetida como fonte. As práticas sociais que agiram na elaboração da gravura rupestre podem estar demarcadas no período de contato ao se interrelacionar dados etno-históricos. Os polidores e pilões fixos, juntamente com a técnica de gravar são perpassados pela técnica do polimento, imprimindo uma paisagem relacionada com o saber técnico. |
| Abstract: | This study was carried out in Serra Azul, located in the municipality of Ibaretama, in the State of Ceará, Northeastern Brazil. The main reflections are focused on the polishing technology that permeates a rock engraving site, the material culture of polished artifacts of a museum located in this region and also, fixed pylons and polishes elaborated on rocky outcrops of the above-mentioned saw. The landscape in this way has its memory in the material culture coming from this area of the moun-tain, which is always sent as a source. The social practices that acted in the elaboration of rock engraving may be demarcated in the contact period when interrelating ethno-historical data. The polishes and fixed pylons, together with the technique of engraving are permeated by the polishing technique, printing a landscape related to technical knowledge. |
