Contribuições do PIBID de educação ambiental na formação docente

Abstract

In this work, we intend to present, through a qualitative analysis of case studies carried out with Pibid EA scholarship holders (Institutional Scholarship Program for Teaching Environmental Education), one of the interdisciplinary subprojects, to show the contributions that this Program offered to its participants. The work is extremely important as an argument to affirm the relevance that initiation programs have to their participants, taking into account the devaluation of teaching by the Brazilian government. In this sense, a brief history of environmental education in the world and in the School and Higher Learning was researched as an introductory form. The research was conducted with six fellows and two former Pibid EA fellows. This research was carried out in the form of semi-structured interviews, where several data were collected and analyzed using content analysis methods based on Bardin (2011), Câmara (2013), Loschi (2015) and others. From the results it was observed that the Pibid EA was a program that brought several contributions in the teacher training of the scholarship holders involved, such as: teacher reflections, public posture, critical and political awareness within the classroom, maturation of the professional in a teaching community, lived experiences, mitigation of the reality shock and especially the ability to deal with interdisciplinarity. In this way, the objective of the work was successfully completed.
