Eu não estou aqui: texto-testemunho para psicologias antirracistas

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to report a testimonial text to discuss racism and anti-racism in Psychologies. This is a qualitative research method of narrative type that intersects personal experiences with theoretical reflection on the theme, dialoguing with black feminism, quilombism and studies about whiteness, diaspora and decoloniality. After the presentation of the method and the grounding theories, data are exposed and discussed that reveal racism while practicing psychological-socio-historical-structural, such as data on working conditions and homicide. Next, the history of Psychologies in Brazil is briefly presented, exposing linkage between the construction of psychological knowledge and social vulnerabilities in the Brazilian territory between the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, reflecting on the crises in the area and its ethical commitment. Finally, from bibliographic and experiential findings, anti- racist clues in ethics, epistemology and aesthetics are presented for teaching, research and extension in Psychology, calling their professionals in exercise and training.
