| Resumen en portugués brasileño: | O objetivo deste trabalho é gerar variáveis aleatórias discretas com distribuição em lei de potência motivados pelo fato de muitos fenômenos da natureza seguirem essa distribuição. Para alcançarmos tal objetivo, necessitamos entender o método da inversão que usaremos para mapear a distribuição binomial na distribuição lei de potência. Como aplicação iremos usar a distribuição gerada por este método para ser usada como distribuição de conectividade em redes complexas. |
| Abstract: | The aim of this work is to generate discrete random variables with power law distribution. Motivated by the fact that a lot of natural phenomena are characterized by this distribution. To reach this task we must understand the inversion method that we are going to use to map the binomial distribution into power law distribution. As an application we will use the distribution we generated following this method to be used as a connectivity distribution on network science. |
