A Prática psicológica no campo de estudos da deficiência: uma discussão da literatura científica atual.

Abstract

This work is a theoretical discussion, whose purpose is to perform an analysis of the psychological performance in the field of disability studies, based on current scientific literature. In order to think of an emancipated society free of pressures that mark the life of the subjects, it is necessary to discuss about issues such as disability. In addition to the areas of action, this research sought to identify the themes privileged by the psychologist's perspective in this field, through an integrative review. The analysis obtained pointed to two important areas: inclusion in education and inclusion in the labor market. This work revealed the need for attention, exploration and involvement of the psychologist in relation to the issues related to the person with disabilities, capable of critically and creatively promoting the reflection and action of society with the aim of instituting public policies in institutions And in the various spheres, thus contributing to full inclusion.
