Sergio Ramírez, escritor e político, e o contexto político-cultural nicaraguense e centro-americano na segunda metade do século XX

Abstract

In this paper we intend to analyze, albeit briefly, the work and the actions of the Nicaraguan intellectual Sergio Ramírez (1942-), seeking to elucidate the existence and permanence of a Sandinista political culture. Through the association between the action of Ramírez and the Nicaraguan political and cultural context, we try to clarify how such Sandinista political culture provided symbols and political representations with which Ramírez dialogued in order to guide political action and intellectual elaborations. Thus, we aimed to portray as, via Ramírez, Nicaraguan political projects were built and how the performances of this intellectual also contributed to possible resignificances of the sandinismo itself.
