Traduzir ou aplicar: as técnicas de pesquisa como fim ou meio?

Abstract

The present text addresses the problem of contemporary research techniques. We start from the assumption that the precariousness of the material conditions of society governed by capital strongly impact the production of scientific knowledge. In this sense, we discuss, from marxian history and ontology, the ideological and methodological differences between the perspective of "application" of the techniques on the object and the perspective of "translation" of the actual movement of the object itself. It is at the bottom of the differentiation between the standard of knowledge established by the gnosiological perspective with the advent of capitalist society and, on the other hand, the social theory developed by Marx and taken up by Lukács, among others.
