| Abstract in Brazilian Portuguese: | A transmissão de um veículo é responsável por transferência da força e rotação do motor para as rodas do mesmo. A escolha da relação de transmissão é muito importante, pois ela deve ser dimensionada de forma que tenha força o suficiente para transpor os obstáculos da pista ou adquirir velocidade. Porém, é necessário que tenha uma velocidade final adequada para o uso do veículo. Isso ocorre, pois quanto maior a relação, maior a força do veículo, porém menor será a sua velocidade final, e vice-versa. Para a escolha, comparou-se os valores de inércia rotacional, disponibilizada no SolidWorks 2016, com os calculados. Com esses dados, utilizou-se o software Matlab R2016a para escolher a relação mais adequada a fim de atingir os objetivos estabelecidos. |
| Abstract: | The transmission of a vehicle is responsible for the transfer of force and engine speed for the wheel. The choice of transmission ratio is very important, because it must be sized so that it has strength enough to overcome the track obstacles or gain speed. However, it must have a proper end speed for the use of the vehicle. This is because the higher the ratio, the greater the strength of the vehicle, but the lower its final speed, and vice versa. For choice, it was compared the rotational inertia values, available in SolidWorks 2016, with the calculated values. This data was used to choose the most appropriate ratio to achieve the established objectives, using Matlab R2016a software. |
