Abstract

The executive secretary, pressed for various circumstances, is always renewing himself and seeking improvement. The most present legal disciplines in the Executive Secretariat courses are: Administrative Law, Social, Labor and Social Security Legislation and Human Rights. All of these are undoubtedly of crucial importance for the formation of the executive secretary. However, there is a gap: how can knowledge in business law contribute to the executive entrepreneurial secretary? Certainly, the executive secretary, due to his multidisciplinary education, has a wide range of labor market to act: non-governmental organizations, industries, teaching, public advisory, etc. However, research in the secretarial area shows that most of these professionals are located in private companies. In addition, the emergence of new opportunities such as consulting and entrepreneurship further reinforces the need to think about the importance of Business Law in the professional profile of the Executive Secretary. To investigate these reflections, the present research was elaborated with the general objective of explaining the importance of Business Law in the course of Executive Secretariat. For this, a bibliographical research was developed, with descriptive qualitative approach and data collection technique with questionnaires addressed to four law professionals and four from the Executive Secretariat. With this research, it was verified that the new reality of the executive secretary entrepreneur and entrepreneur requires a deepening in the studies of Business Law in a systematized form as a differential in his career, after all, with this new profile, the professional metamorphosed, breaking paradigms and conquering markets.
