| Abstract in Brazilian Portuguese: | O presente trabalho se encontra organizado do seguinte modo: estabelecemos várias notações, bem como colecionamos alguns resultados elementares sobre tensores, variedades de Lorentz e imersões isométricas. O próximo capítulo é devotado ao estudo das r-curvaturas médias Hr de uma hipersuperfície. Em particular, nele provamos as fórmulas para Lq(Sr) e Lr(Sr). E no último capítulo, tal fórmula é aplicada na dedução dos resultados supracitados. |
| Abstract: | The present work is organized in the following way: we establish several notations, as well as collect some elementary results on tensors, Lorentz varieties and isometric immersions. The next chapter is devoted to the study of the average r-curvatures Hr of a hypersurface. In particular, we prove the formulas for Lq (Sr) and Lr (Sr). And in the last chapter, such a formula is applied in the deduction of the aforementioned results. |
