| Abstract in Brazilian Portuguese: | El artículo rememora una investigación llevada a cabo en establecimientos de enseñanza agrícola dei estado brasileiño de Paraiba, en el nordeste dei país en 1983-84. Focaliza en particular Ia formación de los ingenieros agrónomos como categoría profesional, Ia orientación de su carrera en función de condicionantes no evidentes y sus reflejos en Ia práctica llevada a cabo por dichos técnicos en relación con otros especialistas y con los productores. Propone 10 que se denomina el modelo agronómico como intento de sistematización de los factores que determinan Ia configuración dei sistema de enseiíanza agrícola y condicionan Ia conceptualización de los profesionales dei rubro respecto ai panorama agrario y a los agentes sociales que en él actúan. |
| Abstract: | The article refers to a research carried out in establishments of agricultural teaching in the Brazilian State of Paraiba, in the northeast of the country, from 1983 to 1984. 1tfocuses particularly on the make-up of agricultural engineers as a professional category, the orientation of their career in function of non evident conditions, and their reflections on the practice carried out by these technicians when related to other specialists and to producers. It proposes what is called the agronomic pattern as an attempt for systematizing the factors that configure the agricultural education system and the ideas of agrarian professionals about the countryside and its social agents. |
