Responsabilidade social do empresariado ou filantropia empresarial a serviço do capital?

Abstract

This paper concerns studies that have been developed, since 2002, about the relationship between the State, the market, and the Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). The latter constitute the so-called “third sector”, offering public education to the impoverished. The study presents a critical analysis on the so-called corporate social responsibility and its actions of philanthropy in education, in the control of poverty, as well as its many forms of manifestations, asserting moreover, that the phenomenon in view is favored by the privatization of the essential public services.
