Segurança alimentar e nutricional: os desafios da intersetorialidade

Abstract

Reverting the concentrating excluding logic that is present in the bases of the capitalist accumulation process is a defiance and it involves social subjects and the definition of strategies and innovative creative mechanisms. The intersectorial character of public policies is an analytical discussion of this paper to verify the efficacy and effectiveness of the processes and results obtained. This paper aims to evaluate the National School Meal Program (PNAE), its execution in the municipality of Santana do Acaraú, Ceará, Brazil, its dynamics, the relation among municipal public power, civil society and intersectoriality. Qualitative and quantitative results have been outstanding in what concerns the commercialized production and the strategies and agreements celebrated between the rural settlement community and City Hall, since 2005, to include family farming food in the schools’ menus, anticipating, this way, the Federal Law 11.947/9, which determines that at least 30% of the resources are used to acquire family farming food.
