| Abstract: | This paper describes the development of an interactive application for Digital TV. The architectural decisions, drawbacks, solutions, advantages and disadvantages of Interactive Digital TV development are discussed. The application, an e-mail client and its server, are presented and the main considerations about its development are shown, especially a protocol developed for communication between Internet systems and Digital TV systems. |
