| Abstract in Brazilian Portuguese: | O entendimento da história vivida pelas comunidades pesqueiras marítimas cearenses balizou a pesquisa que fundamenta a elaboração do presente artigo. Além de dimensionar a dinâmica das atividades produtivas, visase evidenciar e discutir o significado das estratégias e articulações construídas, em diferentes escalas, no curso das lutas empreendidas pelos pescadores e pescadoras a r t e s ana i s por : a ) me lhor e s condi çõe s de vida ; b) permanência da pesca artesanal; c) o direito à terra e ao território; e, d) a construção de projeto social valorizador da diversidade social e cultural dos povos do mar. |
| Abstract: | The understanding of the history lived for the maritime fishing communities of people from Ceará marked the research that bases the elaboration of this article. Beyond dimensioning the dynamics of the productive activities, it is tried to evidence and to argue the meaning of the strategies and joints, constructed in different scales, in the history of the fights undertaken for the artisan fishing people for: a) the better conditions of life; b) permanence of artisan fishes; c) the right to the land and the territory; and, d) the construction of social project that values the social and cultural diversity of people who work in the sea |
