A perspectiva freudiana sobre o fenômeno religioso

Abstract

It is defined totemism, predecessor system to the religious system. It goes back to the myth of the primal father and the Oedipus complex, to try to understand the religious ideas. It sets out the theoretical foundations laid by Freud dealing with the subject in social relations, where are the religious practices in order to monitor how religion presents an attempt to respond to the subject of its origin. Concludes by indicating that, for Freud, religion is a reprint of the feeling of infantile helplessness and would be explained by the unconscious need of protection and buoyage of the procedures and actions personal against the unknown fate.
