| Abstract in Brazilian Portuguese: | El articulo presenta algunas concepciones teóricas a respecto de los constructos calidad educativa y efectividad escolar. Debate el uso indiscriminado del término calidad, la dificultad en su caracteriraciôn y la imposibilidad de su utiliraciàn sin una teoría que lo fundamente. Como ejemplo de posibles teorías de calidad presentamos y caracterizamos el Modelo Sistémico propuesto por Orden Ho; (1992). Finalmente presentamos los factores que suelen caracterizar los centros educativos eficaces, de acuerdo con Simmons, Hillman y Mortimore (1998), ya que la efectividad escolar es un indicador de calidad educativa. |
| Abstract: | This paper present any theorical conceptions respect the constructs educacional quality and school effectiveness. We debate the indiscriminate use of the term quality, the difftculty in your characterization and the imposibility of your utilization without a theorical modelo As example of quality theories posibles we present and characterize the System Model of Orden Ho: (1992). Finally, we present the factors which characterize the educatives centers efectiveness, according Simmons, Hillman and Mortimore (1998), since as school effectiveness is an indicator of educational quality. |
