| Abstract in Brazilian Portuguese: | A temática da Consciência, apesar das controvérsias existentes, vem ocupando um lugar de destaque na Psicologia. A partir da necessidade de aprofundar-se um estudo sobre a Consciência, surge o LESC-PSI, ancorado no campo de ensino, pesquisa e extensão, o núcleo vem desenvolvendo atividades relativas ao conhecimento na temática da Consciência e vem atuando como um canal de comunicação com a sociedade, contribuindo através de seus estudos, intervenções e pesquisas na formação dos estudantes da área. A proposta do laboratório é um estudo da Consciência através de uma construção teórico e metodológica comprometida com a emancipação social, possibilitando a contribuição e difusão desse conhecimento para a sociedade. |
| Abstract: | The theme of Consciousness, in spite of recent controversy, has been highlighted in Psychology. From the need to deepen in the study of Consciousness, comes LESC-PSI, anchored on the fields of teaching, research and extension, the nucleus has been developing activities related to the knowledge on Consciousness and has been acting as a communication channel with society, contributing through its studies, interventions and researches, with the academic formation of the students in this area. The laboratory’s proposition is a study of Consciousness through a theoretical and methodological construction, compromised with social emancipation, making it possible for the contribution and diffusion of this knowledge to society. |
