| Abstract in Brazilian Portuguese: | O trabalho tem como objetivo vislumbrar a possibilidade de uma intersecção entre os campos cognitivos do Direito e da Literatura, para compreender a dignidade huma-na à luz da novela artístico-literária Fahrenheit 451, de Ray Bradbury. O diálogo entre o direito e a literatura, desde que não implique na simplificação teórica de, por um lado, inten-tar apenas analisar juridicamente uma obra artística ou, por outro lado, vislumbrar os com-ponentes literários num discurso jurídico, permite o enriquecimento de ambas as esferas do conhecimento, as quais nunca estão isoladas. Esse foi um dos objetivos deste artigo. Se-quencialmente, a análise da novela possibilitou a extensão metafórica de seus significantes e significados ao mundo concreto contemporâneo, notadamente as sociedade democráticas. Finalmente, buscou a compreensão da dignidade humana (direitos humanos) no seio da narrativa. |
| Abstract: | The study aims to glimpse the possibility of an intersection between the cognitive fields of law and literature, to understand human dignity in light of the artistic-literary novel Fahrenheit 451, written by Ray Bradbury. The dialogue between law and literature, since it entails no theoretical simplification, of bring only examine legally a work of art or glimpse the legal discourse in literary components, allows the enrichment of both fields of knowledge, which are never isolated. Thus, this paper aims at first, a theoretical approach between the two fields of knowledge. Besides, it aims to an analysis of the novel, to enable the extension of its metaphorically signs to the concrete modern world, the demo-cratic societies. Finally, it sought the understanding of human dignity (human rights) within the narrative. |
