Análise bibliométrica da produção científica sobre avaliações ambientais integradas

Abstract

This study analyzes the scientific production on Integrated Environmental Assessments (IEA) presented at the National Meeting of Graduate Studies and Research in Geography (ENANPEGE) between 2017 and 2023. The research aims to understand how this topic has been addressed in Physical Geography, identifying trends, methodologies, and the distribution of publications in Brazil. A bibliometric approach was used to map articles published at the event, based on keywords related to IEA. The results indicate a growing academic production over the years, with emphasis on studies related to Geoenvironmental Analysis, Geodiversity, and Environmental Planning. Furthermore, research is concentrated in certain institutions, mainly in the Southeast and Northeast regions. The study highlights the importance of IEA in understanding the interactions between society and the environment, contributing to more effective environmental planning and management practices. It is concluded that bibliometrics is an essential tool for assessing research developments and identifying paths for future studies in the field.
