A influência histórica, artística e cultural da alta-costura no mercado de moda

Abstract

This present study was developed with the objective of analyzing the segment of Haute Couture and its historical, artistic and cultural experience in the fashion market, through its historical trajectory, its main maisons and some of its great creators. The guideline consists in comprehending the specificities of the segment and its main social influences since its birth till nowadays. This analysis was made through bibliographic and documental research, starting from the history of Haute Couture and the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture, its paradoxe between art and industry, its structural evolution and its consumers, evidencing its great relevance historical, artistic and cultural.
